It's been 2 years, time to revisit and revise. Nice convenient location, new assigned front parking which is nice. No charging near by except across the way by the Vons (4 shell free slow chargers) and lots of tesla. Not crazy busy for a Saturday morning, seated right away. Slow service on getting drinks and orders. This is where I knocked off the star. Food was fast, table service not as attentive despite all the waiters, waitresses, and food runners. We split the chilaquiles with the red sauce, (sorry no pictures) please be aware it's got the heat and the spice!! Which is fine, no indication that it is spicy....probably just a common sense thing.... which sometimes I don't always have. Soo it's spicy! We added the shredded chicken which was tender and delicious. Served with rice and beans, bland but good. Quiet modern restaurant, bathrooms are key and clean. Coffee improved, ask for vanilla creamer if you have a sweet tooth. Juices are good. Size portions are shareable. Over all, yes improvement however would love to see more friendly and forward greeting when entering the establishment. Good luck yelpers!!

Denny's was suggested for breakfast and that is a non-starter for me so I Yelped other nearby breakfast places and found Kamila's. Now I have a daughter named Camilla so that's a plus right away. Then I saw in the Yelp description that it is vet owned and minority owned so we ended up going to Kamila's, and had great service and a wonderful meal. And they even had an animal shelter donation bin in the lobby. Kamila's is located in Clairemont near where Aldi's is at (formerly Rite Aid). I had the French Toast with eggs, bacon, and hash browns. All were great and filling and a reasonable price. This is a good place for some good food and supporting local businesses.

Always friendly and quick service at Kamila's. This breakfast and lunch place is right by Aldi's in Clairemont. You can order breakfast or lunch which is nice because my husband orders breakfast and I order lunch. If you order the senior breakfast, your coffee is free. My favorite lunch order is the chicken sandwich. The piece of chicken you get is huge! It comes with bacon and avocado. I like to order it with a side of soup. The place is very, very clean and offers booth or table seating. It's one of our go to places for breakfast in Clairemont.

Kamilas is a hidden gem that you don't know you need in your life....but you do! First off, it is tucked into the first floor of an office building set back from the road and partially hidden by Aldi. You will almost never find yourself stumbling into Kamilas, but if you've found it then you'll be happy you did. We went during the holiday season and the staff did not disappoint with festive decor all over to make us feel Merry & Bright. Here are some things you will want to keep in mind. First, there is a sign up front that they won't seat your group unless everyone is there, so no letting grandma out while you park the car. Second, they're only open until 2, so don't be rolling up in there at 1:45 expecting to get a table. Now onto the food....i got the Fit Breakfast to make up for the 800 Christmas cookies I had eaten over the prior 24 hours. It was really good! Egg whites scrambled with mushrooms, tomatoes, & spinach. Top It off with turkey bacon, some fruit & an English muffin and I was all set. They had a menu board on the sidewalk calling out a "Straw banana Nutella French Toast or Waffle". That would be my option for next time when I'm not loaded up with sweets. The staff was nice and welcoming and the prices were fair. We had a group of 8, so automatic gratuity of 18% was added to our check, so be prepared for this so you don't double tip. I can't wait to come back! Thank you Kamilas for making our day!

I stopped here for a breakfast and it didn't disappoint. I got a Cali Benedict, a latte and a cinnamon roll. However, I will say the server DID NOT mention when ordering a side cinnamon roll that it is actually a French toast cinnamon roll (not noted anywhere on the menu either). It was delicious but I was expecting a baked cinnamon roll. Apparently you can order it but you have to specify which seemed odd to me. It has cute decor and was decorated for the season. Very nice environment, I'd come back if I was in the area.

Great indoor vibe. Music is a tiny bit too loud, but you also aren't listening to anyone's conversation because the music is good. The portion sizes are good as well

What a little hidden gem. So clean and roomy and delicious! We will return for sure. Great service, another server walked around refilling everyone's coffee! I never had to wait for a refill that is 5 stars in my book! We were all happy with the food. Well flavored and came out quick! My waffle was perfectly golden and had some crunch on the outside and so soft on the inside! The chicken was good but maybe a little brine would be good but the crust was so flavorful and good! I'd get it again! Potatoes look odd but man they were flavorful so don't let it detour you. Lots of parking, nice wide round top for 4 your plates aren't crowded like at some restaurants do it was nice. Good oldies music playing in the background was a good touch and happy! Our teen girls liked it a lot too! It is in a random strip mall but worth the find! Good prices! Great find! I love that the toast was toasted well. Bacon was crisp! Great food! I'll be back for that ham my husband had too! So flavorful Tip: Restroom is off to the side where there is another exit so please go with your kids. Door was hard to navigate with the key.

The place is small but a great place to eat. The service is good and the servers are very attentive. I had the breakfast sandwich and I enjoyed it. The fruit was fresh as well. Was very impressed and Yelp assisted with finding this place, so thank you again. Also, I feel bad for the servers because everyone was having problems with the bathroom situation. If you haven't been to the restaurant, you will find out. Haha

Sometimes you just want to treat yourself on a Saturday morning to a wonderful breakfast without leaving the house. Kamala's definitely treats you right. They offer comfort food and plenty of it with some extras like fresh fruit salad ( delish and bananas) and sausage biscuits and gravy. ( tasted like it was made in NC), I am getting misty on the recall. Corned beef hash was the way I grew up with canned ( I would guess Hormel) , spam lovers you get it, and eggs over easy perfectly cooked. That is tough for delivery. Cali Eggs Benedict was as tasty as it looked. And a free coffee to top it off. Thanks for a great beginning to my Bday weekend!

Delicious breakfast! Beef chorizo was so flavorful with spice from fresh jalapeño. Our friend got the pancakes which were perfectly cooked and so fluffy! Overall service was great and staff were efficient and kind!
